Several models and upcoming Bollywood actresses capitalise on it to make quick bucks, so they can live the rest of the year in relative comfort. If they charge in lakhs for every night of pleasure on New Year’s eve, their rate comes down to Rs 25,000 on non-peak months like February and March. And if they are relatively new to this profession, they even charge Rs 5,000 per night.
One such actress happens to be Gulshan Sharma (see picture) who won the Miss World Wella Paris 2007 crown. She appears in the TIMEX TV commercial as well. Not only does she appear in bit roles in Bollywood films, she also charges to be present at parties and get-togethers. There are many such Gulshans crowding the film scene and people taking advantage of it. The reason newer faces are being increasingly sought after is because most flesh trade agents get a regular stream of clients who demand fresh faces. So it becomes their job to update their list of babes to keep them in their good books.
So the next time, you spot an upcoming model or an actress, she could well be in this business for the quick bucks. Ofcourse, there are many girls who say they are actresses and models by dressing appropriately, but they arn’t. There are several agents fooling you this way.
