Tees Maar Khan, Farah Khan’s next directorial magnum opus after Om Shanti Om in 2007, is already proving to be a monster hit. PVR sold over 10,000 tickets on Wednesday, the first day of the film’s advance booking.
And today, reports mention that most multiplexes and single screens have recorded 100% attendance for the morning show. I can vouch for that. When I tried to book a ticket yesterday for today, there was not a seat available at Bangalore’s multiplexes.
However, I did manage to book a ticket for Saturday’s morning show. Which means, it all boils down to what people have to say about the film after watching it today. If word of mouth is strong, the collections will double or even triple from Friday.
Industry talk is now hovering around whether this Akshay Kumar-Katrina ‘Shiela ki jawani’ Kaif starrer will end up beating Dabangg. I will keep you posted on how it goes. Watch this space. I will also let you know what I felt about TMK on Saturday.
