There is much talk about Ghajini’s monster opening at the box office (it raked in Rs 192 crore worldwide in just two weeks) and the appeal of its lead actress Asin.
While she is already a star in the south, there is now talk that she could dwarf other Bollywood heroines like Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
I have seen Asin in Ghajini and feel she is a competent actress who got very lucky with Aamir’s Ghajini. If this kind of monster luck continues to be with her, she could very well dwarf other heroines within no time.
She might not be as talented as Kajol or as much of a looker as Aishwarya Rai, but she might well be destiny’s child.
