Write Wing Media, my custom publishing firm based in Bangalore, is seeking full-time feature writers and photographers from Bangalore. The requirement is for a tourist guide and a weekend tabloid in Bangalore. In addition, I am looking for a Coimbatore-based content manager for a tourist guide in Coimbatore.

Experience: Both freshers and those with 1-2 years experience can apply

Brief job profile

* Reporting on news and events happening around town.
* Editing/rewriting and proof-reading copy.
* Supervising the layout.
* Coordinating with freelancers and sales personnel.
* Ideas and story angle generation at story meetings.
* Attending page 3 parties, product launches and related events.
* Interviewing well-known personalities and finding out little-known personalities in the city that are making a difference.

Requirements

* The feature writers should be proficient in English, possess a high attention to detail and be willing to work at odd hours, and come up with story ideas all the time.
* Importantly, they should be team players and go-getters.
* The photographers must have their own professional camera kit and be willing to work odd hours.
* All candidates are required to send their updated CV alongwith samples of writing/photography. Incomplete entries without samples of writing or photography will not be entertained. Even unpublished samples of writing will do. Freshers can write 200 words about themselves and mail us as their sample of writing.

Salary: Feature writers (Rs 10,000-15,000 pm); Photographers (Rs 15,000)
