Hottie Trisha Kannan is now in Bollywood, starring alongside hearthrob Akshay Kumar himself. Looks are not just it. She’s talented to boot with an attitude that’s hard to beat.
However, her jump from Kollywood (read Tamil films) to Bollywood is not without some inside stories. Apparently, the actress is not too pleased with the professionalism shown by the industry. It is said that she is made to wait inordinately for shoots to begin. Not just that. Some films never begin and some films begin and stop abruptly. Not that Bollywood is insulated from it all.
Wonder how Trisha will cope with the many idiosyncracies of Bollywood. I know of a case where a talented director wanted to light up a song sequence innovatively. But the producer butted in and ordered him to do with a fourth of the required resources. That’s budgeting and cost cutting in today’s recessionary times. Trisha, are you reading this?
