Yes, it’s official. Shahid Kapoor is often seen in the arms of a much happy Anushka Sharma who recently debuted in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
After his unhappy break-up with Kareena Kapoor, Shahid has found his new love, albeit onscreen. Whether this new-found screen chemistry works offscreen as well remains to be seen. But for now, know this.
Shahid and Anushka are paired in the next film by Yashraj Films where Shahid sports a crew cut (military cut) while Anushka’s hair will be fringed and not plain like we saw in RNBDJ.
The as yet untitled film will be directed by debutante Parmeet Sethi who isn’t new to films, though. Remember the Punjabi villain in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge? And if you are a TV buff, remember the protagonist of DON (Detective Omkar Nath)? If you are more into gossip, remember bold and beautiful Archana Puran Singh’s husband?
