Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone will now be starring with Amitabh Bachchan in a film titled Lost Love. She is to start shooting either by the end of this year or early next year.
Though she is yet to sign the dotted line, it will now only be a formality as the actress has already given her consent. Big B’s deal is close to completion, too.
Talks are now on to sign on Abhishek Bachchan to play the younger Amitabh in the film. Amanda Seyfried (of Mamma Mia fame) is likely to essay the role of the younger Sharon.
Set in a hill station (it could be Kodaikanal, Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar), the film is about an American girl trying to find her lost love in India after her Indian boy friend ditched her in the US of A.
After the success of Slumdog Millionaire, India is indeed on the global map. With A-list actresses like Sharon Stone giving their consent, Hollywood has indeed arrived in Bollywood.
