Walk-ins are spirits who take over someone else’s body. The degree of the takeover decides who dominates whom. You might have come across mediums (people who interact with the dead and convey their message on to the living) who host walk-ins. In this case, the walk-in happens to be the dead person the medium is communicating with.
I saw one such medium the other day, a blind woman astrologer. She said, she will summon her spirit guide and tell me my future. She held my right hand and closed her eyes. Within seconds, she started shivering, shaking and making strange noise. And then, she asked me my name and my mother’s. After that, what followed is her status report on my past, present and my future.
Though I was not too happy with her reports (I was kind of shaky after the experience), I said she did good and left before she asked me for more details. I had gone to her, because I had to profile her for a piece on coffee dreg reading. But then realised that after she went blind, she had to resort to holding your hand and summoning the spirit guides to help her out. Thankfully, her daughter inherited her talent and I could write on her coffee cup reading skills instead.
