Not that Anupam Kher is any lesser known than Woody Allen in India. But the fact that two stalwarts are coming together in a Hollywood film is great news.
Kher is a consummate entertainer that I have the highest regards for. He slips into any role effortlessly. The fact that many young actors of today have been groomed by him says a lot about the man.
I only hope he gets a role that merits his versatility and gives him a big boost and puts India on the map yet again like Slumdog Millionaire.
Kher deserves to be in Hollywood. And who better than Woody Allen to cast him?
