Yes. The Perfectionist actor has finally agreed in principle to star as Guru Dutt while Katrina Kaif plays Waheeda Rehman, the other woman in Guru’s life. The film is to be directed by Rang De Basanti’s Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Who plays Guru’s wife Geeta Dutt, the legendary singer, is still a mystery, but I think Aamir might go in for a new girl to play that one.
After all, we are chronicling the young Geeta Dutt, who was more known for her melodious voice and not her physical presence.
Why, even someone like Tabu, Sushmita Sen or Rani Mukherjee could do wonders to the role of Geeta Dutt.
