There’s news that Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle met Aamir Khan recently in Mumbai to persuade him to be part of his next film.
Though, nothing is finalised just yet (we know how long it takes for a film from start to execution), one hopes Aamir takes to it like fish to water. After all, what better showcase than Boyle in what could well be an India-centric film yet again.
Looks like Boyle seems to have re-discovered his mojo and his genre of filmmaking: realism. Good for India. And good for Aamir if he is indeed signed up. Until then, one can only keep their fingers crossed.
