Okay. Okay. Now that Michael Phelps, the 8-gold wonder at this year’s Olympics, has become one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, the next question is who will be the girl in his life. For starters, there are two names floating in US airspace: supermodel Lily Donaldson and ace swimmer Amanda Beard. Let us analyse the two, shall we?
LILY DONALDSON
A quick face analysis of Brit supermodel Lily (and the face of Burberry, Gucci, Gap) seems to tell me that she’s ambitious, weight-conscious and a person with a fickle character. I could be wrong, but there are other differences that might not go well with Phelps and his background. She’s a Page 3 person. She appears to be straight-forward and honest. If at all, she dates Phelps and finds him boring, she will be the one to dump him first. That is how honest and outgoing she can be. On the plus side, she can be a great motivator for Phelps. Being from the same field, she can navigate his career well and both can feed off each other’s energy levels. If the two tango, expect an explosion.
More on Amanda. She has modelled on the side and even gone nude for Playboy. But that is only skindeep. Her real achievement is in the aquatic world just like Phelps. She holds the Olympic record for women’s 200 meters breaststroke after winning in Athens. Though she didn’t make it to the Olympic finals this year, she definitely holds more appeal for Phelps than Lily. And both are Americans to boot!
